1. In this photograph I see trash and dirty dishes. There are two plants. One a vase full of lilies, and a bigger plant in a pot. It looks like there might also be some newspaper and maybe a picture frame in the background.

2. I would like to know what the photographer was doing when he took this picture, was he reading the newspaper and saw that the lighting was right for the lilies so snapped the shot? Or did he purposefully take it with the mess around?

3. I think he is trying to say that you can have a mess all around you and still be able to see the beauty that is in front of you.

I chose the location that I did, because I am at the school all the time and it seemed appropriate to photograph the area that I am at almost all day long.  The pictures I chose, I chose because they showed good color contrast, good layout and were very simple.

"That picture is worth a thousand words."

My Picture is describing the idiom "A picture is worth a thousand words."  I chose the imagery that I chose because I thought that it was interesting and and had it own flair that no one else would choose. The story behind the idiom is that there is a man at an art show, and he wants to buy a piece of art. So instead of paying with a thousand dollars, he pays with a thousand words.

From doing this assignment, I learned that when taking pictures, the flash doesn't work very well. You also need light to be able to have natural lighting. I think in the future I will try to plan the days that I go out and take photographs.
