This is my a Alphagram Logo. It incorporates good logo design because it is simple and easy to remember, it uses all of the school colors and the St. Anthony Village High School paw prints of the husky.  It uses simple shapes and easy coloring, making it easier to remember. I also relates the the Film Festival that will be held at St. Anthony.

My favorite company is a health drink, Zrii.  Its logo is a flower design around the wording. The colors that are incorporated in it are red and silver.  When I see it I think of a yummy drink. The logo has not changed any because it is a new company.

This quarter I would like to be able to get at least 95% on all of my assignments, and not procrastinate taking photos. Also getting the photos done before the due date.  Identity is represented in art by showing emotion, and the scenery around them, putting them in a place that they are comfortable, and just following them around their everyday tasks.

  1. If I were to describe the photos that I took would say simple, easy going, playful, childish. The little girl that I took photos of is my neighbor, and she is very girly and shy.
  2. I chose the girl that I chose, because she is quiet and reserved but when it comes to taking pictures she has no boundaries of what she will do.
  3. I learned that she is able to do many things under pressure. When I told her to do some thing and I was either above her or in her face something like that. She also will tell you when she does not like something and she will be really happy when it is something she likes.
  4. It was easy to take pictures of her, because she lets you know her feelings about a certain pose, also she just does her own thing, I basically followed her around while she played. For the staged photos she gave suggestions of what to do.
  5. My biggest challenge that came when photographing was trying to capture her girly side and her playful childish side. She could strike a pose, but also play in the mud and get dirty with no problem.
  6. My favorite photo was Dull Day, because she is looking of into the distance, and you really don't know what she is looking at. I also like the angle and the composition of it.

1. In this photograph I see trash and dirty dishes. There are two plants. One a vase full of lilies, and a bigger plant in a pot. It looks like there might also be some newspaper and maybe a picture frame in the background.

2. I would like to know what the photographer was doing when he took this picture, was he reading the newspaper and saw that the lighting was right for the lilies so snapped the shot? Or did he purposefully take it with the mess around?

3. I think he is trying to say that you can have a mess all around you and still be able to see the beauty that is in front of you.

I chose the location that I did, because I am at the school all the time and it seemed appropriate to photograph the area that I am at almost all day long.  The pictures I chose, I chose because they showed good color contrast, good layout and were very simple.

"That picture is worth a thousand words."

My Picture is describing the idiom "A picture is worth a thousand words."  I chose the imagery that I chose because I thought that it was interesting and and had it own flair that no one else would choose. The story behind the idiom is that there is a man at an art show, and he wants to buy a piece of art. So instead of paying with a thousand dollars, he pays with a thousand words.

From doing this assignment, I learned that when taking pictures, the flash doesn't work very well. You also need light to be able to have natural lighting. I think in the future I will try to plan the days that I go out and take photographs.
